The Magnification Company
Brand Refresh | Web Design
- Situation
The Magnification Company owner and founder Bob Schaefer recognized the need for a digital presence and updated branding after winning an exclusive distribution contract for NuEyes®, an exciting new visual-assistance technology.
- Strategy
Bob’s business objective was to attract customers to a low-vision-friendly website to increase sales conversions, promote NuEyes, and advertise counseling services in the St. Petersburg area. The new identity system would need to balance contemporary styling with accessibility requirements for the vision impaired while preserving valuable brand equity.
The project was planned in budget-friendly phases, with phase 2 eventually incorporating eCommerce. It was also critical his own team be able to manage the website after project completion.
- Solution
We modernized the original logo with contemporary typography and colors. The typeface—Tisa Pro—features generous counters and a large x-height to accommodate vision challenges, while the color palette softens the blues and greens without sacrificing contrast. A style guide unified brand implementation across a responsive website, icons, graphic elements, brochures, rack cards, stationery and social media branding.
